Best Buy To Sell Moto G Smartphone On Verizon Network For $100 With No Contract

Verizon has already confirmed that it going to offer Motorola‘s Moto G smartphone to its prepaid customers in 2014, but so far it hasn’t revealed any more info than that. But lately, Best Buy has confirmed that it will start selling the Moto G on Verizon network for $99.99 with no contract.

Moto G

Moto G weighs 143 grams and measures 129.9 mm (height), 65.9 mm (width) and depth 6.0-11.6 mm (curve). It runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and packs 4.5 inches display featuring 1280 x 720 HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU, 5 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front facing camera, 3.5 mm headset jack, a rechargeable lithium-ion 2070 mAh battery and so on.

The smartphone is now available on Motorola’s own website and on Amazon. Both Motorola and Amazon are selling the 8 GB Moto G for $179 (no contract) and 16 GB for model for $199 (no contract). But the smartphone needed to make an appearance with wireless carriers and at retail stores. Best Buy grabbed the option and confirmed that it’ll start selling the Moto G smartphone on Verizon for $99.99 with no contract “as soon as it arrives.”

At $100 price tag, the Moto G will be an excellent option for those people who have been looking for a decent smartphone with decent specifications without having to sign a conventional service contract with any U.S. carrier. It now remains to be seen, with $99.99 price and with off contract, what model of Moto G is offered.
