Google introduced Nexus 4 smartphone built by LG last fall. The smartphone has already grabbed people’s traction hugely. However, lately all on a sudden, Google has cut $100 price of Nexus 4.
Nexus 4 runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and packs a 4.7-inch display that provides an impressive resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels. The smartphone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core CPU, 2 GB of RAM and an impressive 8-megapixel rear camera. It also comes with a number of really cool features such as wireless charging, NFC support etc. The phone has a unique new feature called Photo Sphere with the help of which, users will be able to take 360-degree panoramic shots.
However, until now Google had been selling 8 GB memory equipped Nexus 4 for $299 and 16 GB memory equipped Nexus 4 for $349. But now Google is selling the same 8 GB and 16 GB memory equipped Nexus 4 for $199 and $249, respectively, thanks to sudden $100 price cut. The discounted pricing is available in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, Spain, Germany, and Korea.

The hardware is aging, tooling costs are recouped and while a new Nexus is surely in the works somewhere, keeping sales going with a price cut is likely good business no matter what.
