Best buy has just indicated to buy the HTC Thinderbolt smartphone and you will have to part with $749.99 to pocket the Thunderbolt 4G without any strings attached and that price tag might just ensure that most (if not all) go to Verizon to buy the mobile at a subsidized price.It looks like Best Buy is going 4G which is why the Verizon iPhone may not have made the cut. The HTC Thunderbolt, however, will take advantage of Verizon’s 4G LTE network and data speeds on this device should demolish the speeds you’ll get on the carrier’s upcoming iPhone variant.The Thunderbolt is a gorgeous device and till has last generation written all over in terms of internal hardware. It’s not a bad phone in the least bit, but there’s almost no competition when you sit the thing next to the Droid Bionic. The Thunderbolt is basically a 4G Desire HD and while the processor on the thing is in no way slow, it’s prime time for dual-core phones right now.Thunderbolt falls short with a single-core processor and HTC Thunderbolt 4G has been long-awaited and should be pretty popular once it hits the shelves.

To the writer of this: You obviously don’t know anything out side of numbers like most typical phone buyers out there. First off to say the hardware in the Thunderbolt is old is way off. The processor is the newest version of the Snapdragon processors with faster bus speeds making it only slightly slower than the 1.2ghz dual core tegra 2. The ram is the Thunderbolt is also makes a huge difference. It was 768MB whereas the Bionic only has 512MB.
Second off, you you know anything about phones (which I will say you obviously don’t) the HTC Sense UI is much smoother than Moto Blur UI. The phone also is not slowed down by Moto’s bloat-ware.
There are so many more reasons why the Thunderbolt is better than the Moto Bionic but I don’t feel like wasting anymore time on someone who doesn’t know anything other than just reading about the face-facts and acting like they know what they are talking about.
