Then there is also the ‘S Beam’ feature which makes use of the Android Beam NFC File Sharing. All you have to do is bring a device close to the other device and you can then share files between two S III phones at ultra-high speeds, all without even a Wi-Fi or network availability!
The ‘Buddy Photo Share’ makes taking photos on your S III a true social feature by automatically detecting the faces of all the people present in your photo and then tagging them on their social profiles.
Samsung has also improved hugely on the camera front. The camera is able to snap with an impressive zero shutter lag and can capture up to 3.3 frames per second. It then automatically chooses the best photo out of a burst of eight shots.
The company has also taken the rather risky step of launching a music service of its own titled ‘Music Hub.’ Not only does it already have a whooping collection of 17 million songs, it also comes with the ability to scan and match the tracks from your collection.
With all these features, one may hope that Samsung may be able to grab a huger chunk of users from the smartphone market. But while Samsung has furnished a really large set of features for the S III phone, what remains to be seen is that whether or not the users will take a liking to it.
