Coby Electronic is now preparing the release of its first 10-inch model, the Android 2.2-running MID1024 and ncoming tablet measures 10.55″ x 0.63″ x 6.49″ and features a 10.1-inch (1024 x 600) capacitive touchscreen, a 1 GHz Samsung processor, 4GB of flash storage, a microSD slot (supporting up to 32GB cards), 802.11 b/g WiFi, an USB 2.0 port, a mini HDMI output, a front-facing camera and a 3000 mAh battery……….
Coby Electronics unveiled plans to start offering a 10-inch Kyros tablet in May of this year. Pricing for the tablet or a specific model name were not divulged in the announcement but pricing for Kyros tablets has never crossed $300 and model names have never been spicy. What was announced other than the upcoming launch were some specifications. According to Coby the ‘Coby Kyros 10-inch tablet PC’ will have a 1GHz processor powering it along with a version of Google’s Android OS. The tablet will have 4GB of built-in storage and the ability to have 16GB or 32GB of added SD card storage will be available depending on the model. Other features to be included with the tablet include a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g Internet connection, HDMI output port, and a front facing camera and built-in microphone and speakers for select models. Coby Electronics is likely to have their 10-inch Coby Kyros tablet PC on display at the upcoming Computex Taipei show, we’ll follow-up on this device when more is available.

coby products are not worth the money and the customer service is even worse we bought a coby tv it worked for 3 months when we contacted coby in georgia about we got no response email wise and the telephone help was even worse. In my own opinion buyer beware!!!
