Amazon usually makes an announcement before releasing any product. But this time, Amazon made no announcement and revealed the new Paperwhite on its product page. It seems like Amazon wanted to keep it secret that it is releasing the new second-generation Kindle Paperwhite, but possibly by mistake, the info leaked on the company’s product page.

Although Amazon has revealed not any vast details of the device, we already know that Amazon has put  improved, light and the highest-ever contrast display for the new Paperwhite. Amazon has also updated the processor of the device. Now the processor is 25% faster than the earlier version.

Some of our reliable sources have said that the new Paperwhite is “the best device for reading, period.” Amazon is very much optimistic that this device will attract people like never before and therefore the company hopes it would be able to sell as many Amazon Paperwhites as possible.

The new Paperwhite Wi-Fi version starts at $119, which is expected to be available on September 30. And the Wi-Fi+ 3G-enabled version which starts at $189 will be available on November 5.
