T-Mobile Starts Offering LTE iPads With Upto 200MB Data/Month For Free

T-Mobile had hinted in the past that it may soon start offering LTE data for iPad slates. Coinciding with the launch of the new iPad Air and Retina iPad Mini, the carrier has finally announced that it will be offering iPad. To sweeten the deal, T-Mobile will give the first 200MB data for free.

T-Mobile

If you sign up for an LTE iPad with T-Mobile, you will be able to use 200MB data for free each month. This is an extra-ordinary deal which shows that T-Mobile is taking on the big wigs of the industry such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint.

None of the other carriers offer free data for iPad users. For instance, AT&T charges $14.99 for 250MB per month. T-Mobile is not only offering the free data, the overall data rates of the carrier for iPad users are significantly lower than other competitors.

The company is offering 2.5Gb per month for $30.00 and 4.5GB per month for $40.00. This is T-Mobile’s debut into the terrain of iPad data and the company certainly knows how to make a lot noise. With the sales of both iPad Air and Retina iPad Mini expected to shoot sky high in the coming days, we can certainly expect that T-Mobile will be getting a lot of new subscribers, thanks to its generous 200MB of free data.

Do let us know in the comments below whether or not you find the deal enticing enough to sign up for it.
