Apple brings its first 4G LTE device. The 4G version is available for both AT&T And Verizon network in US. But we just find out for different carrier Apple have different hardware. So you have to be careful in case you are ordering new iPad 4G. Here is details what we have find out.

Apple says its world ready, and it use MicroSIM, so like iPhone 4S it works with both GSM based network and also with CDMA based network. But for 4G LTE it requires different hardware to support different carriers different network.

AT&T or Verizon

If you decide on an iPad with Wi-Fi + 4G, be sure to select the model that corresponds with the carrier you’d like to use for 4G LTE service. The iPad model you purchase is specially configured to work with either AT&T or Verizon — not both. So while you don’t have to activate service right away, you should choose your iPad with Wi-Fi + 4G according to the carrier you prefer.
