Office 365 Users Face Email Access Problems For The Second Time In Five Days

Only five days ago, a number of Office 365 users reported that their email service was having problems. The problem briefly persisted and went away on its own. Now, it is back, with a number of users in North America complaining that they are unable to access Office 365 email services.

Office 365

Office 365 is a cloud-based solution offered by Microsoft. It comprises of a number of software offered by the company, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online as well as Lync Online. The cloud-based suite is primarily geared towards corporate entities as well as governmental organizations. With the new Office 2013, Microsoft is planning to launch a whole host of new Office 365 packages.

However, the users of the suite have cited that they are having access issues, something that has occurred twice within a span of five days. This naturally does not look good on Microsoft’s record sheet.

Citing the situation, a Microsoft spokesperson stated, “On Tuesday, Nov. 13, some customers served from our North America data centers are experiencing intermittent access to e-mail services. Customers are being updated regularly via our normal communication channels. We sincerely apologize to our customers for any inconvenience.”

The company hasn’t stated whether or not it has taken any measures to counter the possibility of similar issues in the future. To make Office 365 a success, Microsoft needs to do more than issue reassuring statements.
