Survival Condo – Best Place In US To Survive Apocalypse

A survival condo is a facility that offers individual ownership of a residential unit within a superstructure that offers the highest level of physical protection, redundant infrastructure for power, water, air, and food; as well as “shared or common” facilities for extended off-grid survival. Inside the condo, everyone shares the responsibilities for group security, operation and maintenance of the facility, new daily functions for education, cross training, aquaponic farming, medical support, and as many other tasks as possible to create the highest quality of life for the “extended family” while operating in “survival mode”. A developer named Larry Hall has converted a former Atlas F missile silo into a Survival Condo in Kansas.

Developer Larry Hall, a former software engineer, has been working on a 1960-era Atlas F missile silo in north-central Kansas for a long time. The place he is trying to turn into luxurious residents is nothing but a 174 feet deep hole. So what this 174 feet deep hole includes and have?

Survival Condo will have enough supplies of site-grown food and purified well and rain water that will house 70 people who’ll live there for years. For the people’s entertainment and mental satisfaction, silo would provide different types of facilities like a spa, movie theater, classrooms, a bar, and a pool. The residential place would be include jacuzzi, large HDTV panels simulating windows, and deluxe appliances. If you’re thinking about the electricity, then no need to worry as diesel generators and wind turbines are there to generate the electricity. In addition, for safety reason, the site would have weapons cache, security cameras and electric fences.

Once there were dozens of Atlas silos built around the U.S. but many of them have been turned into homes. missilebases.com website advertised former Nike, Atlas, and Titan launch sites that were for sale and ready for conversion to doomsday shelters. According to Hall, none of them were as superb as Survival Condo.

Hall said, “This is the only Atlas F where the entire facility was converted. Others have done parts of the facility, but to my knowledge this is the only one where the entire facility was converted and modernized.” He also mentioned that one of the condos in the silo is complete, and the rest of the the condos will be ready in 8 to 10 weeks.

Though right now the full project is incomplete, but the units in the complex have already been sold out this month. The price was $2 million apiece for the 1,820 square feet units. So, if you’re interested to buy, you better not waste time and start saving money.
