Google Testing Augmented Reality Glasses In Real

We have been hearing a lot about certain ‘glasses’ that Google is working on. We reported about it earlier and now, Google has confirmed in a post that these glasses are very real, have been developed during a project named ‘Project Glass’ and now, the glasses are being tested in real! Google employees are testing the glasses in public places to see how viable and useful they really are.

Last time when we reported about these glasses, it was from some unknown source inside Google. This time, however, this is very much official which means that sometime soon, we can expect a pair of really sleek and futuristic glasses available for purchase. Being in testing essentially means that we can expect the launch not too later.

Google has been working on these glasses in the famed laboratory known as Google X, kind of known for working on futuristic gadgets. Like we stated earlier, these glasses indeed are an incredible innovation.  You get to give voice commands, set reminders, know about weather, find routes in real-time right in front of your eyes, send messages, read emails and what not! All you have to do is wear these glasses and your world suddenly becomes a lot more organized, clear and easy-to-navigate.

Now, Google has made the information about this project precisely because its time to gain feedback about it now. The Google employees working on the project wrote, ‘We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. Please follow along as we share some of our ideas and stories. We’d love to hear yours, too. What would you like to see from Project Glass?’

The most impressive thing about these glasses, as you would see in the video posted below, is how easy it is to share things to your social networks. You can snap a photo on your way to office and tell through voice command to have it shared to your G+ circles. And just like this, within seconds, it would be done! I would detail more features of the glasses for you but that would spoil the fun of the video. Treat yourself:
