The team worked fast, getting a few alpha and beta releases over the past few months, and recently releasing the several release candidate (RC) builds over the past two weeks.  All that culminated to the final stable release which has just been made available today for download.

Most of the top features that were the last version of CyanogenMod 6, have been included in this release.  They have also added some standard enhancements and various bug fixes.  The biggest improvement of all is the addition of many new devices that are now officially supported by the CyanogenMod team.  This now brings the list of supported devices to over 30!  It also includes some support for tablets like the NOOKcolor and the Viewsonic G-Tablet.
