Gingerbread Dominates The Android Devices

After releasing the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, its growth rate has been increased. Though Ice Cream Sandwich is the latest version of the Android but most of the Android devices run on the Gingerbread till now. Recently Android developers has provided this data. Gingerbread still reigns supreme, running 63.7 percent of the Android devices.


Android Gingerbread dominates

According to the Android developers “the relative number of active devices running a given version of the Android platform.” Ice Cream Sandwich started appearing in devices only towards the end of last year. They also said “understand the landscape of device distribution and decide how to prioritize the development of your application features for the devices currently in the hands of users.”
