Samsung Rolls Out Android 4.0 For Galaxy Tab Tablets

Samsung had released Android 4.0 for its 10.1-inch and 7.0 Plus tablet models in UK, earlier. The update can be downloaded Over-the-air (OTA) or installed through Kies software application for the Samsung devices. However, Samsung was hush about Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates for the rest of its tablet lineup. Now Samsung has rolled out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) for Galaxy Tab tablets in UK.

A spokesperson of Samsung UK said, “Samsung U.K. can confirm the roll out of the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus WiFi and Galaxy Tab 10.1 WiFi devices is live. Any further updates for the Galaxy Tab range will be announced in due course.”

The company did not mention when the update will be available on US. Seems, the Galaxy Tab users in USA have to wait more time to get Ice Cream Sandwich.
