Apple iPad 2 Coming With iOS 5 Features

We are almost a day away from the Apple iPad 2 Announcement. A reports claim that Apple may release iOS 4.3 on March 2nd, Engadget claims that Apple will unveil iOS 5 alongside a new dual-core A5 iPad 2 with 512MB of RAM at the upcoming iPad 2 launch event. Hit the break for more details.

The iPad 2 is scheduled to be announced formally to the public next week, March 2 at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

Many have speculated that it will more likely have new features and will be powered by the iOS 5 but we have yet confirm this nor are there any leaks suggesting that this is the case. We are free to speculate though and it would be nice timing for Apple to showcase a new version of the iOS considering that some of the new tablets that will be competing for market share will be powered by Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the newest version of the popular mobile device software made for tablets.

Apart from this, we know that the iPad 2 features are going to be spectacular as the iPad 2 is reportedly thinner with an anti-reflective screen. It will have a dual-core A5 processor along with 512MB of Ram. There will also be two cameras, similar to the fourth-gen iPod touch as well.
