Apple’s New iMac Coming in March[Report]

According to some analysis report of Three Guys and a Podcast, Apple is planning to introduce the new iMac in March this year. Apple usually tends to refresh its iMac product line every 8 months (or so), announcing a major design update to the line every 27 months (or so).

Apple’s latest update to the iMac happened in October, with the last minor refresh reportedly in July last year. With all this in mind, TGAAP now claims that it is likely we will see new iMacs this March, but also make clear that the update to the product line will be a “refresh” rather than the introduction of an all-new design.

It’s expected that the new iMacs comes with a new screen size, new powerful processors, extra storage options and SSD drives. Report also states that major update of iMac is expected around January 2012. We have to wait until March 2011 in order to see the new iMac.

I am hoping to switch from PC desktop to an iMac but getting really fed up with the wait especially as it seems the spec won’t be any better than my 3 year old PC. Can anyone remind me why I’m switching??? I’ve got a 2 year old MacBook pro laptop for small graphics work and web work and that sucks as well.

it may be thunderbolt or maybe the new simpler laserstorm nano multiplex crescendo firethrust spirangulation port. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Tthe next iMac is going to be debuted at the June wwdc event. Along with lion preinstalled. Less hassle for apple and more time to get rid of whatever current gem stick they have left before the new one. It’s all about the profit margin.

  13. Angelok1982

Damn predictive text. I meant “generation stock” not gem stick smfh

Is it just me or is this the worst website layout ever. Does this website look hideous on every browser or just on Chrome. All the frames and advertising…. It reminds me of the late 90’s.

I reckon that the new iMac wil be released on either the 6th, 13th, 20th or the 27th March because apple like to release the new iMacs every 10 months and apple like to release their new products on Tuesdays…..

    I can’t wait until then 🙂
