Sony’s New NEX-7 DSLR First Look

The Sony NEX-7′s image has just leaked out. No idea on whether this is the official image or not! One of my sources said the image is original but the final model could have some differences. Perhaps this is a red herring that Sony threw out to the masses just to mislead them? There are so many possibilities, so it really depends on which side of the divide you are on.

The NEX-7 will apparently come equipped with a rangefinder style in the same vein as that of the Fuji X100. Well, the NEX-7 will come with the very same A77 24-megapixel sensor, not to mention a 3 million dot OLED EVF. Bear in mind that this is no a hybrid viewfinder at all, and will sport an attached Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 lens.

We are not sure as no official announcement made, but most people have estimated the Sony NEX-7 to retail for around $1,200 when it finally hits the market. For now we will just have to wait for the NEX-7 to surface on the FCC before wringing out more information on it from the documents filed.
