Download Mac OS X 10.7.2 Beta 3 And iCloud Beta 9

Apple has seeded  Mac OS X 10.7.2 and iCloud Beta 9 to developers, another new build for developers to check compatibility for their applications and for new Mac OS X and iCloud build you will need to be an official Apple developer which will cost $99/year. Apple has also seeded iPhoto 9.2 Beta 3, an update that also aims at providing integration with iCloud’s features that deal with photography and before installing this update, keep in mind that it will replace your current version of iPhoto with this one which can have the issues commonly found in pre-release software, therefore it’s recommended that you only apply this update in a testing environment…………………..

 

Apple has begun seeding OS X Lion 10.7.2 Beta 3 to developers this afternoon, along with 10.7.2B3 (11C43), Apple has released iCloud Beta 9 and iPhoto Beta 3. Apple’s release notes said the Lion update focuses on Airport, AppKit, GraphicsDrivers, iCal, iChat, Mac App Store, Mail, Spotlight and Time Machine and Apple warns that this is a pre-release build and that developers should not yet install it on a machine that they depend on for their business.

    iCloud Add-on installer for OS X Lion. (Mac Developer Program membership is required)
  3. iPhoto 9.2 beta 3
    If you wish to test Photo Stream on a Mac, you must install iPhoto 9.2 beta 3.

Installation Instructions:

The OS X Lion 10.7.2 Update (Combo) updates

– OS X Lion 10.7 or 10.7.1 GM builds.

– Any earlier seed of Mac OS X v10.7.2 ONLY AFTER installing the included reversioner.

IMPT: If you installed a previous seed of Mac OS X v10.7.2, please run the enclosed Reversioner.pkg, do not restart but install the update immediately after.

The OS X Lion 10.7.2 Update (Delta) updates

– OS X Lion 10.7.1 GM builds.

– Any earlier seed of Mac OS X v10.7.2 ONLY AFTER installing the included reversioner.

IMPT: If you installed a previous seed of Mac OS X v10.7.2, please run the enclosed Reversioner.pkg, do not restart but install the update immediately after.

Please be aware that you will not be able to revert back to your previous system after updating. Please install this update on a system you are prepared to erase if necessary.

As this is a pre-release build, it is not advisable to use this software on a production system with information on it that you depend on for your business.

Crashing Bugs: Crash logs are required for crashing bugs. Crash logs can be located in ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

Kernel Panics: Backtraces, which contain vital information for investigating kernel panics, are required for kernel panic issues. Backtraces can be saved to nvram on restart shutdown, then copied to the panic.log file on restart. The panic.log file can be found in /Library/Logs/PanicReporter.

Hanging Issues: When an application is hung, a Sample should be provided. This can be done using the Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities/). To generate a Sample using this utility, click on the hung application name, then from the View Menu select “Sample Process”.
