Autodesk Inventor fusion is a very useful software that is used to create 3D Mechanical designs. It is often beneficial for professionals as well as students affiliated with many different engineering fields. Autodesk showcased a Mac version of the software at Macworld 2012. Until now, Autodesk Inventor fusion was available with Windows. Now that Autodesk has demonstrated a Mac version of it, the software will also be available on Mac for the first time.

Autodesk already has a number of other software which are very successfully running on Mac products. In view of such a success with Mac users, it’s only natural that the company has now decided to add support for Mac to one of it’s key software, the Inventor Fusion. Autodesk Inventor Fusion is a very useful software for mechanical designs. In the words of Autodesk,

“AutodeskĀ® InventorĀ® Fusion is 3D modeling software that showcases intuitive direct manipulation capabilities for unrivaled ease of use. By uniting direct modeling and parametric workflows, Inventor Fusion offers the best of both worlds. Designers can freely explore complex shapes and forms while maintaining the underlying parametric history. Inventor Fusion makes it easy to open and edit 3D models from almost any source and incorporate them into your design, enabling rapid design changes without limitations.”

Autodesk now plans to release a free Technology Review for the program within a few days. This will kind of a beta version, an early version which users can download and provide feedback about. Apparently, after gathering user feedback and finalizing the program in it’s light. Autodesk will release the final version some time later.

One of the most useful features of the software is that it allows cloud storage and online viewing as well as collaboration with others through internet.
