Sparrow Lite, the free version of the app, will also be available following after it is approved by the Mac App Store. The Sparrow Lite app will support only one account and will be funded by advertisements.

Sparrow version 1.1, which will reportedly provide IMAP support for the likes of Mobile Me, AOL and Yahoo, will soon undergo private beta testing.
