Microsoft Office 15 Now In Technical Preview, Beta Will Be Available In Summer

Microsoft Office has been one of the most successful, user-friendly and easy productivity suites. And Microsoft is gearing up it’s efforts to launch a new version of it, code-named Microsoft Office 15. Microsoft Office 15 will have some huge changes, hints from official statements tell us. This version has already reached the Technical Review phase. Microsoft hopes that it will release the beta version in summer this year to the public.

One of the most important things about Microsoft Office 15 is that we can hope Microsoft is working real hard to make it compatible with ARM machines. This is because Microsoft has been trying to bring Windows 8 on ARM machines and we had reported earlier that there has been break-through in these efforts.

Microsoft 15 also incorporates some huge chances and may turn out to be quite different from it’s earlier versions. Microsoft’s CVP of Development said about it, “”I can tell you Office 15 is the most ambitious undertaking yet for the Office Division.” This essentially means that rather than just re-hauling the earlier version or adding some more features, Microsoft may be working on the basics to create an all-new Microsoft suite which may run on many different chips smoothly.

There is no definite time-frame given by Microsoft for the release of Microsoft Office 15 but it did say that the beta version will be released to the public to gather feedback by summer this year. And the final version too is expected to hit the shelves by the end of the year.
