Windows 8.1 And Windows 8.1 Pro Available For Pre-order

Since Microsoft released Windows 8.1 to manufacturers, people have been eagerly waiting for the official release of this OS. It’s not unknown now that Microsoft will release Windows 8.1 officially on October 18. And now, Windows 8.1 is available for pre-order.


Windows 8.1

Windows 8 customers will receive the upgrade for free on October 17, while those with earlier versions will have to purchase it. Those running Windows 7 can install Windows 8.1 directly; users running Windows Vista, XP or earlier must install Windows 8 first, and then they will be able to upgrade to 8.1 for free. However, Windows 8.1 costs $119.99, while Windows 8.1 Pro costs $199.99.

Be noted, Windows 8.1 is the first major update to Windows 8. More importantly, Microsoft has brought back the start button with Windows 8.1.

    the only thing about windoze 8.1 to wait for are the new computer systems that have been queued up by various manufacturers for the official release of windows 8.1…

    So you might find one or another interesting new laptop to buy, but otherwise, YAAAWWNNN….
