CulCharge: The Smallest USB Cable For iPhone And Android Devices

Often people are found regretting for not keeping their phone’s charger with them when their smartphone shows low battery signal and there’s no charger to give it a boost, or the phone completely gets drained. Keeping that in mind, Slovakia-based start-up CulCharge has created the smallest USB charge and data cable for iPhone and Android called CulCharge which you can keep it on your keys, in your wallet or wherever you want. It means you can charge your smartphone anywhere you go.

CulCharge

CulCharge USB phone charger is made of flexible (can be bent more than 180 degrees) silicone. It sports a cool, modern and minimalistic design that really catches your eye. It is 6 cm (2.3 inches) long. It has a USB plug at one end and a connection to a phone at the other.

CulCharge

The CulCharge is available in several variants, depending on what smartphone you’re using. There is an iPhone 5 model with a Lightning connector and a microUSB version compatible with pretty much all Android and Windows Phone handsets. Users of older handsets can grab the miniUSB model, or the 30-pin variant compatible with the iPhone 4 and the iPhone 4S. Note that the CulCharge cable can not only recharge a phone’s battery, but also act as a data cable for file transfer. Here’s a video for you of CulCharge.

Right now, the Slovakia-based company is raising fund via Indiegogo. With 4 days still left (as of writing) in the campaign, supporters have already pledged more than $78,387 for a pleaded amount of $15,000. If you just want a CulCharge, you can get it for only $9. Prices would vary based on your preferred CulCharge. The CulCharge for iPhone 5 Lightning will cost you $16.

However, if all goes well, the first batches of CulCharge will ship in October of 2013. For more, visit Indiegogo.
