Most of the limelight of today’s Apple event has been stolen by the much-anticipated iPhone 5. However, in terms of looks, the new iPod Nano pretty much beats iPhone 5. The new iPod Nano has an ultra-sleek body at a bare 5.4-mm thin and has an impressive 2.5-inch Multi-Touch display.
The new iPod nano is so tiny and sleek that when holding it, you feel as if you’re holding a slightly thicker credit card. It comes with physical Play, Pause, Forward and Back buttons on the side. The device can also play videos although it may not be a very rewarding experience on a 2.5-inch display. Still, the addition of video playback capabilities makes it a true media player.
It features Bluetooth connectivity which will finally allow the users to connect up with other Bluetooth devices. You can share music, photos and other content with your friends via Bluetooth and can also pair the new iPod Nano with a number of BlueTooth speakers and headphones.
It is available in seven colors including blue, green, pink, slate, silver, purple and citrus. Apple claims that this new iPod Nano has the longest battery life compared to its earlier peers. Priced at $149 for the 16 GB model, the device will hit the shelves in October this year.
