EA Announces The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Game

One of the biggest international sports events, FIFA Football World Cup, is just around the corner. Coinciding with the occasion, EA has released a new game titled ‘2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil.’

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

Electronic Arts has been following the routine since 1998. Every four years, it releases a game title which coincides with the new football World Cup. This is in addition to the regular FIFA games that EA releases more frequently.

The 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil game will come with ‘203 national teams, 7,469 players, 19 officially licensed managers, and 21 new stadiums including all 12 authentic stadiums from Brazil.

The game comes with many modes and you can choose any of these to start playing. For instance, if you select the ‘Road to the FIFA World Cup‘ mode, you get to play across a number of stadiums throughout Brazil. If you select the ‘Captain Your Country’ mode, as the name suggests, it lets you ‘work your way through the squad list and lead your country through qualifying and to FIFA World Cup glory.’

With the football World Cup in Brazil still a few months away, EA has ample time to create the hype leading to the release of the game. The game will be released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on April 15 and it is expected to be a huge success. However, this world cup edition does not mean that FIFA 15 will not be released on schedule. Rather, FIFA 15 is expected to arrive in September or October.
