Blacklight Tango Down

Ignition Entertainment launches a new first-person shooter set in a near-future eastern European city on Xbox Live Arcade.

With Blacklight Tango Down reportedly a sales success on Xbox 360, work has already begun on a sequel for the downloadable shooter.

Zombie CEO Mark Long told The Big Download that the sequel will feature a number of improvements, including larger maps and “controllable mech-like vehicles.”

Those who purchased the original game though shouldn’t expect any additional content. Long said that the only updates will be bug fixes.

Blacklight Tango Down is currently available for $15 on XBLA. The PS3 version will be out sometime in August.

Expect the sequel in August 2011.
