Disney Announces Highly Interactive ‘Infinity’ Game For iOS Devices And Consoles

Disney has been collaborating with a number of other entities to create a highly interactive game titled ‘Infinity.’ The game was originally developed by Avalanche Studios with help from both Disney Interactive and Pixar. The company has now announced that the game would be available on consoles as well as iOS devices.

The interactivity of the ‘Infinity’ derives from the fact that it comprises of both hardware and software components. Users can get new characters within the game simply by plugging extra figurines into the base unit of the game.

Moreover, the sheer number of characters available within the game is huge. Players will be able to access the characters from The Incredibles, Monsters Inc. and Pirates of the Caribbean. The diversity of the characters adds a particularly fun angle to the game.

During the game play, users will be controlling their characters within two different environments – one of these would be ‘Play Set’ multiplayer universe which will be specific to Disney and Pixar characters, separately and the ‘Toy Box’ multiplayer universe which would allow the player to gain access to characters from a multitude of Disney properties.

The company has recently tried hard to gain a foothold on the mobile gaming ship by rolling out its own iOS games. And in doing so, it has been fairly successful. Evidently, Disney wishes to carry forth this success with the likes of ‘Infinity’ by releasing the game for iOS devices, along side game consoles. We are certainly eager to see what kind of a game play ‘Infinity’ is going to offer and how good would be the iOS version.
