Rumored Photo Leak Of PS4 And Xbox 720

The gaming enthusiasts of two major gaming hardware vendors, Sony and Microsoft, have been eagerly waiting for a hardware refresh. Although neither of the two companies have yet announced a schedule for the next hardware release, neither is it expected to happen this year, a number of rumored leaked photos of PS4 and Xbox 720 games are doing their rounds on the web. Here we have posted them below.

The image that is posted above is the leaked image of a game that, it is being claimed, will be launched on Xbox 720. We are not sure about the authenticity of the image but a number of sources are reporting it. The image has been attributed to both PS4 and Xbox 720 games, both of which are still to be released.

The latest gaming console of Sony, PS3, has been here for some five years. On the other, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 has been around for six years. So the users of these gaming console have been naturally craving for a hardware refresh which still doesn’t seem happening in any time future.

We did hear about Xbox 720 and some had speculated that it may be available this year but Microsoft was quick to point out that such a thing was not happening this year and users may expect a hardware refresh only in year 2013.

One of the reasons why PS3 and Xbox 360 lasted so long without a significant hardware change was that due to firmware roll-0uts, these console pretty much changed entirely on a regular basis. However, there’s only so much a firmware can change and so, now the hardware constraints of the two consoles are making the users demand a refresh from the two vendors.

If the leaked images that are doing their rounds on the web are indeed authentic, it would mean that both Sony and Microsoft are actively working not only on a hardware refresh but also on the games that would go with the new devices.
