Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread Ported To iPhone,iPod touch[Video]

A hacker @Nick Pack has successfully ported the Android 2.3Gingerbread‘ to the iPhone 3G. While this Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread has released for iPhone 2G/3G & iPod Touch ist gen as a preview realease only and not distributed through Popular Android Installer called Bootlace. That means you have to Download the binaries and Install it manually using these instructions given below.

This is a preview release of Android Gingerbread (2.3.1) for Apple devices, I am busy with other projects for a few weeks and the other 3 active developers are working on porting openiboot to the iPhone 4, iPad and 3GS, so I thought I’d put a test build out for everyone to have a mess around with, please read this post fully before trying it.

This release is for iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 1G and is ONLY available as a binary package.

For the Install of Android 2.3.1 Gingerbread on iPhone 3G/2G & 1st Gen iPod Touch, your iPhone/iPod Touch must be jailbroken. Follow these Instructions as follows.

    Looks like droid runs pretty cruddy on the 3G, should run alot better on the 4.
