Apple Asks Federal Government to Crack Down iPhone Jailbreaking Hackers

Apple is in big headache due to Jailbreaking of iOS devices especially iPhone which can be unlock too.According to NBC report, Apple has asked to the federal government to help crack down on iPhone jailbreaking hackers.Generally hackers used the Jailbreaking term for cracking the software restrictions, so the iPhone works on every carrier network and allows the users to download and install the apps which is not approved by Apple.

NBC quotes:

“Apple is asking the federal government to help crack down on hackers ‘jailbreaking’ the iPhone,”

NBC continue, Apple told the U.S. Copyright Office:

“Current jailbreak technologies now in widespread use utilize unauthorized modifications to the copyrighted bootloader and operating system, resulting in the infringement of the copyrights in those programs,”

It’s still a bit unclear from NBC reports whether Apple asking for if anything. Under the DMCA of 2010, both jailbreaking and unlocking are legal in the United States of America.

Probably as a result of the subpoena GeoHot to legal action from Sony, Apple also decided to not want to allow these people to develop Tool to Jailbreak iPhone, although the procedure has become legal tender throughout the territory of United States.
