Apple Experimenting New Way of Charging iOS Devices

Yesterday, WSJ reported that Apple will release a new iPhone which will be lighter and thinner than iPhone 4 along with few expected specifications. Today, another report emerged and mentioned that Apple is experimenting with some new ways of charging your device which will be introduced in 2012.

According to WSJ

Investors expect a bigger boost to Apple’s phone business next year. People briefed on Apple’s plans said the company is planning a major iPhone revamp then, with one person saying the company has been experimenting with features such as a new way of charging the phone.

However, we are not sure which charging technique is planning to implement next year to charge iOS devices. But it does look like that Apple might release something which can help users charge their iOS devices wirelessly. As we know that Apple has already introduced wireless synching in iOS 5. And if they manage to introduce a new charging mechanism, it will totally change the smartphone industry once more.

What do you think? Any guesses on what Apple is planning to introduce after all these reports? Will it be wireless charging or something different? Share your views.

I think this incessant reporting of even the most minor things Apple might or might not do, is some form of mass media hypnosis…

Buying an Apple device is like voluntarily committing yourself into a prison, cause the entrance door has a really cool design.

Referring to wireless charging as “Apple breaking new ground again” is ridiculous…  People all over the world have been working on such schemes for a few years now. We’re really waiting for having the entire casing act as a solar panel, like Citizen Eco Drive Watches.

Sure, Its nice to charge your device without cable and even nicer to charge it with sunlight.  Will I buy an Apple product if they end up the first ones putting it into a Phone?  No, cause there’s too many other drawbacks with buying Apple products. I don’t need little super-dictators controlling devices I own and thereby controlling my actions.

Wish more people would take “think different” seriously.
