[Breaking] Siri Running in iPhone 4 & iPod Touch 4G Successfully

Siri, the voice control assistant, is only available with new iPhone 4S. As the feature is getting good review so most old iPhone 4 owner was wondering why its not available for iPhone 4. Previous try by 9to5mac was able to port Siri’s interface in iPhone 4, but it was not working, Now @stroughtonsmith and @chpwn have been able to make it working completely in iPhone 4 & iPod Touch 4G. Check the video demonstration and details availability below.

iPhone 4 Siri

After iPhone 4S release beside all internal update Siri become the most smashing feature that created awesome buzz, and iPhone 4S become biggest hit in Apple product line. But as Apple is very interesting business planning maker they left out Siri feature from all other device. That time it seems Siri is not just a software or apps, so its not included with iOS 5.0, it seems its something hardware related. Later with collaboration from Troughton-Smith & 9to5mac they were been able to port Siri base code to iPhone 4 system. They ported the whole interface, but as Apple actually using its Cloud technology to process the voice data, they were not able to interact with Apple cloud server for processing the data. Now known iOS hacker @stroughtonsmith and @chpwn been able to pass that difficulties. They are able to get Siri fully working in iPhone 4 & iPod Touch 4G. Check the video below of Siri working on iPod Touch 4G.

How is the performance:
We need to understand the fact that iPhone 4S has better processor(A5) and Ram, and we already got report its speaker and microphone is also better then last iPhone 4, and as we understand the iPhone 4S network connectivity is better then all other device so their will be surely some difference. But from the video of iPod Touch 4G it was working 100% without any delay. But due to poor microphone(at least then iPhone 4S) you have to talk closely and slowly. May be in future they will tweak more to perform better, but its already amazing and fully working.

Availability:
Its not available for public, and it seems will not be available soon. as all those are ethical hacker, they wont go beyond legal terms. So they actually cant play with Apple code. Siri is completely Apple property, they need those code, file, and everything to run Siri, and doing anything with Apple code will be direct violation. So its not possible for them to release it in public, unless they make some thing similar to that by them-self. Like Cydia and its software installation process, its completely separate process. But we alos need understand the fact there are un-ethical hacker, who dont care about legal terms, like the way people use installous, its anything but legal. So may be somebody will get hold on those new hack and release that in public. But who will be using that will still violating law.

Update from 9to5mac
9to5mac and their dedicated contributor Troughton-Smith already got help from @chpwn and used their technique to interact with Apple server and made their hack also full working. Check their post here and video below
