German site fscklog.com has posted another interesting tidbit from the purported retail box shots of the new MacBook Pro. It is the fact that the specifications of the device also seem to outline a new feature relating to Apple’s future video calling standard – FaceTime. This new feature is touted as FaceTime HD.
Also as 9to5Mac points out, could this also mean FaceTime HD video calls coming to the next-gen iPad, iPhone and iPod touch too? That we’ll surely find out next week, on March 2nd, when Apple finally unveils iPad 2 to the world.
