iOS 5.0.1 Beta Released – Coming To Fix Battery Life Issue

Today Apple released iOS 5.0.1 Beta (9A402) for its developer. It is coming to solve battery life issue, multitasking gestures on the original iPad, improve Voice recognition for Australian users, and will fix other bugs. Check out the details below.

Its already available for download for Apple Certified Developer. This update is for all iOS device. Its is presumed that Apple will release some update soon to fix that battery issue. But considering the size of release(For iPhone 4S its 811MB) there might be some feature update too.

iOS 5.0.1 beta contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
– Fixes bugs affecting battery life
– Adds Multitasking Gestures for original iPad
– Resolves bugs with Documents in the Cloud
– Improves voice recognition for Australian users using dictation
– Contains security improvements

iOS 5.0.1 beta introduces a new way for developers to specify files that should remain on device, even in low storage situations.

So far no release date, but as we know Apple have 14 day test cycle, so it might get released in next 15-18th November or sooner.
