iOS 5 Beta 6 Will Expire On September 29th

iH8sn0w, the developer of Sn0wbreeze the famous jailbreaking tool has tweeted a very important tweet telling that iOS 5 beta 6 expires on Thursday September 29, 2011 and this may not be a big deal for most of you, it is still something that should be kept in mind. The chances of actually running a beta version of the iOS 5 firmware are slim to none and Apple should release the official iOS 5 firmware or at least another beta by the expiry date…………..

The rumor mill points to early October release as AT&T VP allegedly asked managers to prepare their teams for the upcoming iPhone 5 during the month and surprisingly, the date of the newly released iOS 5 Beta 6, which the final version bump most likely then will powered the iPhone 5 is very closer to the time frame of iPhone 5 launch. iH8sn0w has confirmed that the iOS 5 beta 6 firmware will expire on September 29th, 2011 at 8:00:01 PM (EST) and it means if you are still running a beta version of the iOS 5 firmware by the corresponding expiry date you will be locked out of your iDevice and forced to restore/upgrade through iTunes. iPhone and iOS release announcements usually held on Monday with the only exception of the first iPhone, so if take that into account, we can expect to see the iPhone 5 publicly unveiled as early as September 5, but since it is a Labor Day, maybe the launch will be on September 12 which then again also in the time frame suggested by previous reports that says mid-September release.
