With all the rumours about Apple‘s upcoming iPhone 5 starting to circulate around the Internet, it was only a matter of time before some enterprising Chinese OEM would attempt to one-up Apple and get a jump on the Cupertino giant by studying what are allegedly the leaked images of Apple‘s elusive smartphone and releasing its own iPhone 5 knockoff that sports design elements resembling those found on the aforementioned leaked images. According to a report posted by Giz-China, this particular iPhone 5 sports a body which is built mostly out of black plastic and is said to be no thicker than 7mm. In addition, Giz-China claims that the Chinese OEM responsible for designing this particular knockoff has definitely done its homework, considering how the overall design of the clone bears a striking resemblance to the dimensions and shape sported by leaked images of casings for the actual iPhone 5 smartphone. Last but not least, Giz-China has also confirmed that this particular iPhone 5, unlike most cloned Chinese smartphones will not be powered off a custom-skinned version of the Android operating system. Instead, users will get to play around with a proprietary JAVA-based operating system upon purchase of this smartphone, along with support for basic features such as MP3 playback and Internet connectivity via WiFi and the phone reportedly boasts an internal flash storage capacity of 64GB, a claim which our source clearly has got no intention of buying. For 699 Yuan ($108) you get also get a iPhone 5.

i have this same phone and it’s a cheap fake ugly,main problem is memory is only 67k and no wifi, there is a icon for wifi but no connectivity
I bought this iphone here in thailand not a boffin really with phones,the user manual that came with it is difficult to understand as it ‘s written by some one that does not know good English very gobble de gook so i have downloaded several manuals the difficult part is connecting to my computer as the usb driver did not work in itunes obviously because it is a clone,So had to find the driver that it tells you is missing 6225 was what it said I tried a mediatech usb debugger that worked in mass storage was not sure about com port so I deleted it and typed in china mobile drivers there was every driver in there so I downloaded two a 6225 and a 6235 comes up in winrar, not knowing much of how to use it I used the wizard and now it is connected I used the 6235 but will have to use a different apps provider not done yet but there are supposed to be several for china phones hope this is helpful I am just a beginner with comps and phones Oh and the mediatech usb debugger acted as an ethernet device whatever that is!
I just one yesterday. They have an outlet in Dubai. I am disappointed already and am thinking of a way of disposing it. It is a complete rip off. I wish there was somebody who could stop the distribution of this rubbish.
