Leaked Image Shows iPhone 5S With Dual-LED Flash And Bigger Battery

We found multiple images from MacRumors of what is believed to be Apple’s iPhone 5s. In the leaked images the device appears to carry the same redesigned logic board that appeared earlier this week. The new image shows iPhone 5S with dual-LED flash, and slightly bigger battery.

We also found the iPhone appears to come with a 5.92 Whr battery, which is a jump from the 5.45 Whr battery found in the current generation iPhone 5. The battery carries a more recent Apple Part Number of 616-0652 compared to the iPhone 5 battery, which has carried several different part numbers including 616-0611 and 616-0613.

An image shows that the processing chip doesn’t carry the A-series stamp like the one in the iPhone 5.

Finally the rear shell of the leaked chassis shows a vertical pill-shaped window for the LED flash as opposed to a round window. The new leaked image shows it’s supporting rumors of a dual-LED flash for the iPhone 5S.

Paired with the new iOS 7, which promises more efficient multitasking, the next iPhone could last considerably longer on a single charge. Apple may launch the iPhone 5S as early as September alongside a budget-minded model with a plastic shell.
