Apparently, Apple is not only trying to make Siri more intelligent but also hopes to add more ‘wit’ and cultural knowledge to the personal assistant. From the looks of it, by the time we are able to lay our hands on the next iPhone, Apple hopes to significantly upgrade Siri.

The job posting which appeared on LinkedIn read, “We’re looking for a uniquely creative individual to help us evolve and enrich Siri, our virtual personal assistant. Siri’s known for ‘her’ wit, cultural knowledge, and zeal to explain things in engaging, funny, and practical ways. The ideal candidate is someone who combines a love for language, wordplay, and conversation with demonstrated experience in bringing creative content to life within an intense technical environment.”

Apple first unveiled Siri in iPhone 4S and the feature soon became the chief selling point of the smartphone. Over time, the company has expanded the languages support of Siri, offering it in a whole range of languages. Apple seems keen to further develop the virtual personal assistant and equip with even better conversational skills.
