Report: Bomb Threat at Apple Distribution Center

According to AppleInsider there was a bomb inside one of Apple’s 3 Distribution Center buildings in Elk Grove, California. Police responded and promptly evacuated the 3 buildings of the hundreds of Apple employees present.

A bomb threat at Apple’s distribution center in Elk Grove, Calif., forced an evacuation of three buildings while emergency personnel assessed the potential threat, though no bomb was found.

Sacramento’s KTLX TV subsequently reported that an all-clear status was announced by area police five hours after the threat, which had been phoned in at approximately 8am Monday, local time.

The location houses Apple’s distribution center, and three specific buildings were evacuated around 9:30 this morning (PST). According to the report, emergency personnel and trained bomb sniffing dogs were on site. Nothing has been found yet, and all employees are safe.
