TinyUmbrella developer notcom is working on another tool TinyPwn which will allow you to customize IPSW firmware files. It will enable users to backup their SHSH blobs, create custom IPSW firmware files and jailbreak your iDevice without upgrading you baseband so that you can unlock it. TinyPwn will be compatible with all OS including Windows, Mac and Linux.
According to notcom,
TinyPwn: Mac/Win/Linux ipsw customization tool. Will allow scriptable modification of the ipsw via a simple custom API. (and more 🙂 )
At present we know very little about TinyPwn and is also difficult to understand what kind of firmware customization will be possible with this tool. But you can assume that it will be a program much like Pwnage Tool (Dev Team) and sn0wbreeze (iH8sn0w), a tool that will allow then to create, through appropriate commands step-by-step, to restore a custom firmware through iTunes on device.
Even if you still do not know the release date of TinyPwn, the developer has announced that this tool will be compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux, and that, along with the edited files. Ipsw, will be introduced in other important news.
