Acer going to release another smartphone may coming on this September. This device is featured with a large 4.8″ display at 1,024 x 480 resolution, known as the Iconia Smart. While this smartphone has been launched officially, but there is still no availability – but good thing a recent update on Acer’s German Facebook page did make the whole picture clear.
The Iconia Smart’s 21:9 aspect ratio screen will give you something closer to a CinemaScope-sized display, at least more so than WVGA or FWVGA Androids. There is a 8MP main camera and single-core 1GHz Snapdragon means it should be a decent performer.
From the Acer Germany, they expecting of releasing sometime in the middle of next month onwards in German, retailing for around $730. There is also the possibility of releasing the Iconia Smart in other parts of Europe within a similar timeframe.
