Apple Cofounder Steve Wozniak Calls Windows Phone Better Than Android

Windows Phone has a beautiful interface, thanks to Microsoft which has a knack of producing user-friendly interfaces. However, so far, no one has been so open and frank about the beauty of Windows Phone, and no one more convinced of it too, than Apple’s cofounder Steve Wozniak who has expressed this in a recent interview.

Wozniak’s praise for Windows Phone comes as a bit of a shock since he was among the three people to have founded Apple and he also enjoys a handsome share in the company.

Steve expressed his feelings while talking to writer Gina Smith in a phone interview. According to Wozniak, he found every single screen, when using Windows Phone, lot more beautiful than he did when he saw the same screen on an Android smartphone. In his own words, ‘I’m kind of shocked. Every screen is much more beautiful than the same apps on Android and iPhone.’

Wozniak does not end at that and goes on to state that using Windows Phone is so convenient and easy that one feels like he is with a friend, not just a smartphone. On the contrary, using Android is bit too cumbersome, he thinks. Given the sheer user-friendliness of a Windows Phone, Wozniak thinks that there is simply no comparison between Android and Windows Phone. He doesn’t weigh in for iPhone either, saying that many of iOS interaction are more awkward than the Lumia phone he currently uses.

Wozniak didn’t specify exactly what Lumia device he is using but it is quite obvious that he must be tooling a Lumia 900 phone. Though his favorite smartphone still remains iPhone, Wozniak hasn’t been shy of praising Windows Phone as much as he felt he should. And that is good. Especially coming from Apple’s cofounder, this praise should mean a lot to the Windows Phone platform.
