Phones with Windows Phone 8 mobile OS will be shipped in early November. No official word has been received from neither AT&T nor Microsoft on the speculated pre-order opening date. However, a Microsoft official commented, “Windows Phone 8 phones will be available to customers later this year.”

The HTC 8X is an entertainment powerhouse with 8MP primary camera and Beats audio. This Windows Phone from HTC packs a Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM and 16GB storage. It also places Gorilla Glass 2 in the front to make it scratch- and break-proof.

The Nokia Lumia 920 packs the same processor like the HTC 8X at the heart – Snapdragon S4. It comes with a main camera of 8.7MP PureView camera. The device doesn’t feature Beats audio amplifier, but comes with a rather uncommon feature -wireless charging. Rest of the hardware of Lumia 920 are similar compared to HTC 8X.
