HTC ChaCha Will Release in Spain as HTC ChaChaCha

HTC Facebook Android HTC ChaCha will be released in Spain as HTC ChaChaCha. According to Engadget, this is due to the fact that “ChaCha” carries a derogatory meaning in Spanish. This of course follows HTC’s trademark infringement lawsuit by ChaCha Inc. and just makes us wonder why HTC didn’t use an entirely different name for the phones in the first place.

For your kind information, HTC ChaCha aka HTC ChaChaCha smartphone is running on Android 2.4 OS and a dedicated Facebook button, as well as a full QWERTY keyboard.

The HTC ChaChaCha has feature a 2.6-inch HVGA touchscreen display, 600MHz processor, a 5MP camera, a VGA camera for video calling, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, and a MicroSD card slot.

This new QWERTY-equipped Facebook Android phone is like the other European markets, it will available in Q2 2011.
