Desire 510: HTC’s “Most Affordable” 4G Android Smartphone

For the past few months we have heard that Taiwanese manufacturer HTC would launch its “most affordable” Android smartphone soon. And lately, HTC HTC has unveiled Desire 510, which the company claims its “most affordable” 4G Android smartphone.

The Desire 510 is a mid-range smartphone. The device runs Android 4.4 with HTC Sense, its own Android skin. The phone comes with a 4.7-inch 854×480 FWVGA display, Qualcomm’s quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, 8GB on-board memory that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot, 1GB RAM and a 2,100 mAh battery. Besides, the phone has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. The phone supports 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, DLNA, and GPS. In addition, it also packs HTC BlinkFeed.

HTC says the Desire 510 will be available in “selected regions in Europe and Asia as well as through select carriers in the US” — but there’s no word on the exact price yet. It is expected that the Desire 510 will help HTC changing its fortunes.
