The 5-inch high-definition 1080p display phones are the newest of stunts by smartphone makers. We have already heard about similar devices from HTC, Sharp and Oppo. This time, Lenovo has hopped into the band wagon. Some leaked screenshots, now deleted, in Sina Weibo shows an unconfirmed 1080p display smartphone.

Lenovo 1080p phone with dual-SIM

The screen size has not been confirmed to be 5-inch exactly. However, it is expected to be between 4.5-inch and 5.5-inch. Given the fact that small form-factor 1080p display maker Sharp and JDI only delivers such displays in 5-inch packages, we can assume that the display of Lenovo’s latest 1080p smartphone flick will follow have the same.

Lenovo’s 1080p phone has a distinct feature compared to other rumored phones in its category. It is a dual-SIM phone and supports both GSM and CDMA networks. The screenshots shows the phone to be connected to China Telecom’s CDMA2000 network and China Mobile’s 2G network simultaneously.

The device is said to be in Design Verification Phase (DVT) for some time. That means, we can expect that Lenovo would unveil it soon.
