Samsung Launching 4-inch Galaxy S III Mini Today, Specs And Image Leaked

JK Shin, head of Samsung Mobile Communications, has announced that the company will be launching a smaller version of Galaxy S III today in Germany. Mr. Shin broke the news to the Korean press on Wednesday. The screen size of the new smartphone, popularly dubbed as Galaxy S III Mini, is 4-inch.

The 4-inch Galaxy S III will probably be an exclusive for the European market. JK Shin said, “There’s a lot of demand for a 4-inch screen device in Europe. Some call it an entry-level device, but we call it ‘mini.”

Official specs of Galaxy S III Mini is not available yet. However, mobilegeeks.de has posted the following specs of the smartphone.

    Kudos to Samsung for making different phones for different people, rather than a certain company’s one-size-must-fit-all concept.

    Too bad, they thought people who want a smaller phone also want a lesser camera. After all, they weren’t looking for a cheaper alternative, just a smaller one. And you can’t tell us an 8MP cam takes up more space than a 5MP cam. We know that’s not true…
