Native Instruments Announced Komplete Audio 6 Interface

Native Instruments has debuted its high-performance, six-channel audio interface for studio or live performance, Komplete Audio 6. The Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 is a premium-quality 6-channel audio interface. The device provides everything you need to record, play and perform music, with four analog ins/outs, digital in/out, MIDI and low-latency performance. The two mic inputs are armed with high-end pre-amps, while Cirrus Logic converters deliver pristine, transparent sound.

The Komplete Audio 6 package also includes Komplete Elements, with over 1000 instruments and effects, plus software for recording, sequencing and DJing.

The interface now uses 24-bit/96kHz Cirrus Logic converters and +11dBu analog output stages for exceptionally high-quality sound. Custom drivers for Mac and Windows further reduce latency, aiding performance and monitoring and supporting ASIO, Core Audio, DirectSound and WASAPI standards.

Komplete Audio 6 requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher on an Intel Core Duo or better with 2GB of RAM. For Windows, a 2.4GHz Pentium 4 or better running the latest service pack of XP or later with 2GB RAM is required. USB 2 is also required on all systems, along with a minimum 1024×768 display. The unit will ship in early May at a retail price of $339.
