Sony’s Upcoming Micro Vault P Series Compact Flash Drives

Are you tired of carrying around your 500GB or 1TB external hard drives? Especially if your 1TB external hard drive requires a power plug for it to work. We bring a good news for you is that Sony has come up with a series of new USB flash drives that will have storage capacities of up to 64GB. The Micro Vault P Series gives users all the space they need in a small, stylish and easy-to carry design.

Available in two color black or white, new design enhancements to the Micro Vault P series include a reduced form factor, a slimmer profile, and a wider strap hole makes attaching to a key chain or mobile phone a snap. A 360-degree LED at the tip lets users know when data is being written, and when it is safe to remove. Sony has also brought back its popular and unique Click feature, letting users reveal the USB connector without adding length to the body and protect it when not in use.

The Micro P Vault will be available in 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. It also comes installed with File Rescue and x – Pict Story. For those not familiar with File Rescue and x – Pict Story, the former supposedly will allow users to retrieve accidentally deleted data by accident in a pinch, and the latter allowing automated photo presentation creation, using your photos stored in the Micro P Vault.

Unfortunately, it looks like the device is set to be released only in Asia-Pacific markets, and no information on pricing for the device.
