Bring Your iPad When You Watch Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”

Electronic devices are usually considered a distraction at a cinema. However, when it comes to Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’, you will be able to bring your iPad along when you watch it in a theater.

Disney Second Screen Live

The movie is a remake of the 1989 classic and when you watch it in a cinema, it wouldn’t be an ordinary viewing experience. Rather, you will get to bring your iPad along. All you need to do is install the free ‘Disney Second Screen Live: The Little Mermaid’ app on your slate.

Second screen live is a new movie-watching experience which essentially lets you interact with the characters of a movie in real-time. In other words, you are no longer just the viewer but also part of the movie yourself.

Naturally, the whole notion sounds very interesting and it would be fun to see what kind of interaction Disney offers to the viewers through the said app. In the past, Disney has shown off the technology when releasing other movies but this is the first time second-screen live experience could be had in the theaters. The movie will be released this Friday, so check the date off your calendar for a really interesting movie-watching experience.
